Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By installing the BetterSend Chrome Extension or creating an account at bettersend.app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use BetterSend.

2. Description of service

BetterSend is a Chrome Extension that provides AI-powered writing assistance — including message improvement, translation, and explanation — inside Slack, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn. The service is provided as-is and subject to these terms.

3. Account and eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use BetterSend.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.

4. Free and Pro plans

Free plan

10 AI actions per day. No credit card required. Limits may be adjusted at our discretion with notice.

Pro plan

Unlimited AI actions. Billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use BetterSend to:

Generate spam, phishing messages, or deceptive content.
Harass, threaten, or harm other people.
Circumvent platform terms of service (e.g., Slack, WhatsApp, LinkedIn).
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the BetterSend API.
Use the service for any illegal purpose.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination.

6. AI-generated content

BetterSend uses AI models to generate suggestions. These suggestions are not guaranteed to be accurate, appropriate, or error-free. You are solely responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use any AI-generated content before sending it. BetterSend does not auto-send any messages on your behalf.

7. Intellectual property

BetterSend and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by BetterSend and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit — we do not claim any rights to your messages.

8. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue BetterSend at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify Pro users of significant changes that affect their subscription.

9. Limitation of liability

BetterSend is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BetterSend shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to messages sent based on AI suggestions.
