Do I need an account?

Yes. The app does nothing while signed out, and the free plan is enough to start: 50 AI actions a month and 3 tones. Sign-in is a magic link, so there is no password to remember.

Why does it ask for Accessibility on macOS?

To read the text field you are typing in and to put the result back into it. It only runs when you click the button or double-click a message, never in the background, and your messages are never stored.

macOS 13 or newer, Apple Silicon and Intel. Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit.

The app signs in through the website in one click. On macOS, allow Accessibility so it can read the field you are typing in.

On Windows, SmartScreen may show a warning on first run because the installer is not yet signed with Authenticode. Choose "More info", then "Run anyway". Updates are verified with a cryptographic signature.

The button in the composer

While you type in Slack, Teams or WhatsApp, a small BetterSend button appears next to the field. Click it, pick a tone, replace the draft.
