Cancelling Wordtune
How to cancel Wordtune, and what to use instead
Open your Wordtune Account page from the profile icon, click Manage plan, scroll to Billing and click Cancel subscription, then confirm; afterwards check that the account shows the Basic plan. Uninstalling the Chrome or Edge extension does not cancel anything, and Wordtune does not refund, so cancel before the next renewal date. If you used it to polish work messages written in a second language, the free alternative below starts from the language you think in.

How to cancel Wordtune on its website

Open your Account page from the profile icon in the Wordtune editor, or click the Settings gear in the extension and choose Manage Plan.

Click the Manage plan button (scroll down if you do not see it).

Scroll to the Billing section and click Cancel subscription at the bottom.

Confirm the cancellation request.

Check your account status afterwards: it should read Basic, with no pending charge.
Before you cancel Wordtune
- The subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period and is not charged again. Removing the Chrome or Edge extension does not cancel it.
- Wordtune's billing policy says it does not offer refunds; you can cancel at any time before the billing cycle renews.
- Both paid plans start with a 3-day free trial that asks for payment details and converts into a paid plan when it ends.
- Wordtune publishes no App Store or Google Play cancellation steps. For a subscription linked to an Apple Hide My Email address, its support locates the subscription and handles the cancellation.
- Advanced costs US$ 13.99 a month, or US$ 6.99 a month billed annually; Unlimited US$ 19.99 a month, or US$ 9.99 a month billed annually, as of October 2026.

I uninstalled Wordtune. Am I still being charged?
Yes, until you cancel on the Account page. Its help center says removing the extension does not cancel the subscription.
Can I get a refund from Wordtune?
Its billing policy says it does not offer refunds. Cancelling before the renewal date is the only way to avoid the next charge.
