BetterSend vs Grammarly

Grammarly alternative for WhatsApp

On the phone, Grammarly's keyboard works in WhatsApp, and Grammarly names WhatsApp on its Android page. On a computer, Grammarly does not name WhatsApp Web or the WhatsApp desktop app in its supported-apps articles, so test it before relying on it. BetterSend adds Improve, Translate and Explain buttons in WhatsApp Web and works inside the native WhatsApp app on macOS and Windows, with 13 tones and drafts in any language.

By Rubens Jr, Founder of BetterSend

Grammarly checks what you type in most browsers, in its Windows and Mac apps, and through its iOS and Android keyboards. Its Android page lists WhatsApp among the apps it works in. Its desktop support articles name Slack, Discord and Apple Mail and say the desktop app covers "most native apps", but WhatsApp is not on those lists.

BetterSend was built for chat. Its Chrome extension adds an Improve button to the WhatsApp Web composer and a Translate button under each message, and its desktop app works inside the native WhatsApp app on macOS and Windows. You write in whatever language is fastest, pick a tone, and get the message back in natural English, or in another language if you choose one.

BetterSend is for

Grammarly is for
